Sandra Walters, RN
Executive Director

The Andre Center provides clinical education/navigation for women and men diagnosed with breast cancer. Our services improve access to treatment, coordination of care, and promote strong trusting relationships with the health care team.

Our primary goal is to offer up to date, credible information on treatment options, coaching help with decisions, assistance with navigating the healthcare system, and connections to needed resources. We also act as a resource to referring physicians and the treatment team by supporting effective communication between providers.

At the Andre Center, our mission and passion is to help patients and their families get to the resources they need in a timely manner.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has awarded a contract to the Andre Center through the Colorado Women's Wellness Connection (WWC) program to provide treatment education and navigation services to women diagnosed with breast cancer.  The contract will meet the needs hundreds of underserved women who are uninsured at the time of their diagnosis. This is a pioneering effort for both the Andre Center and Colorado in that few states offer such services to women in a community and public health setting.

The Missing Link
Could spirituality or prayer be your missing link? A diagnosis of breast cancer can bring even the strongest of people to their knees. As we explore our journey toward health, it is important to recognize that we are multi-dimensional people. If you are interested in support through prayer, please click here
